This is an experimental, AI-produced audio roundup for DuartePost, hosted by Alex and about five minutes long. It covers the first, unofficial election returns released early Nov. 4, with Margaret Finlay leading in the Duarte City Council District 1 race and Lizbeth Aquino leading in the Duarte Unified Trustee Area 5 race, with ballots still to be counted. It also previews Walk for Hope at City of Hope in Duarte on Sunday, Nov. 8, with the site opening at 8 a.m. and the program at 9:30 a.m., and the Veterans Day ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 9 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Thorsen Park, 2801 Huntington Drive. Free emergency-response training, a local innovation panel, storm-season preparation, and a visit to the volunteer-run Duarte Historical Museum are also covered.
